Our Services
The Vassalboro Public Library has an excellent selection of books for all ages and interests. We offer a variety of audio and video titles, as well as internet access which includes 24/7 wireless and is available from our parking lot. There are three desktop computers, I-Pads, and laptops available for public use, print and scan service, and access to online databases of journals, newspapers and reference materials. We have a dedicated children’s space where your children can play and learn with library STEM kits and educational toys, and an adult area for adults to gather and hold meetings. A year round book-sale room is in the library always packed with books. We have a pass to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens from May-October. Lastly we offer a variety of monthly programs throughout the year so visit our website often for updates!

The mission of the Vassalboro Public Library is to provide a welcoming environment to all community members and visitors and support community development for youth and adults. We fulfill our goals through our yearly programs, book collection service, and weekly service hours. We encourage reading for enjoyment, information literacy, community interaction, and lifelong learning.
