Tuesday, January 13 at 10am. Rocks and Minerals in Your Life: We explore the rock cycle of earth and how rocks and minerals are everywhere in our life. We look at different types of rock and mineral specimens, do
some simple experiments and look at minerals under a black light.
Tuesday, February 10 at 10am. Old Time Toys. Ever wondered what life was like in the 1800 and early 1900s? How did children learn, play, and live? Learn about what life was like in the past, particularly in central Maine, and what sort of toys and games children played. Come play with replica old time toys, make crafts from that time period, and learn about what the LC Bates Museum and Good Will-Hinckley was like in the early 1900s!
Tuesday, March 17 at 10am. Mammals. We explore the amazing adaptations of mammals by examining
tracks, scat, pelts, models, and skulls. This program focuses on carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores.
